Relationships have the power to bring us our greatest sense of connection—and our deepest emotional pain. Whether you are struggling with recurring conflict, emotional distance, betrayal, or simply feeling stuck in the same patterns, meaningful change begins with understanding what lies beneath those experiences.

As a Registered Psychotherapist, Maggie specializes in helping individuals and couples create healthier, more secure, and more fulfilling relationships. She believes that our reactions in relationships are often shaped by protective patterns developed earlier in life. By fostering curiosity, compassion, and self-awareness, clients can begin to break free from cycles of conflict, strengthen emotional connection, and build relationships that feel safer and more authentic.

Maggie integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), attachment-based therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. In addition to working with couples, she often helps individuals who want to better understand themselves, navigate relationship challenges, or change long-standing patterns—even when their partner is not participating in therapy.

She also supports adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, stress, and major life transitions. Maggie has a particular interest in working with high-achieving professionals, intercultural couples, and individuals from Asian cultural backgrounds who are navigating the intersection of culture, identity, family expectations, and intimate relationships.

Maggie provides therapy in both English and Mandarin. She is committed to creating a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive space where clients feel understood, deepen their relationship with themselves, and cultivate more meaningful connections with others.
