Free Resources
Your mental health and wellness are absolutely essential to living your best quality of life. They act as the foundation upon which you can succeed, driving you to new heights and a brighter future. However, for too many people, finances act as a barrier between them and mental health, making essential care inaccessible. That’s why we offer free mental health resources here at Hopewoods’ community engagement project operated by WeConnect Community.
We’re passionate about ensuring we can provide mental health assistance to anyone in the Greater Toronto communities who needs help, whether through our free counselling clinic, our NGO WeConnect Community, or our private practice services.
Types of free resources we offer
Providing accessible mental health resources that don’t compromise on quality is a key part of our mission at Hopewoods. We have developed options for those in our community who need free and low-cost mental health support.
We offer a number of services and resources at no cost to you. These include:
We offer regular workshops for mental health and other life support in our community. The best part is they’re completely free. Many of our workshops are centered around family life, especially when it comes to raising kids and dealing with family changes, such as kids moving out and separations. Find the details of our upcoming workshops here.
If you’ve been searching for a new counsellor, social worker, or psychotherapist that you can entrust with your journey, you can sit down with one of ours. We offer full mental health and counselling consultations to people in our community, completely for free. Simply make an appointment to meet with one of our staff, either virtually or in person at our Unionville office, and see if it’s a good fit.
In addition to always offering free consultations for counselling sessions, we’re also committed to providing continued care to all who need it in the Toronto area. Now our community engagement project offers free counselling provided by WeConnect Community. Learn more about our free counselling service here.
We’re proud to act as a key part of the mental health network in the Toronto area. That being said, it’s a role that takes responsibility as well. That’s why we continuously expand our list of invaluable mental health resources in Toronto and the rest of Canada. Whether you need immediate crisis support, medical consultation, or support with addiction, you can count on Hopewoods to point you in the right direction. Find our list of other free resources here.
