I hold a master’s degree in clinical counseling and have specialized training in evidence-based modalities, which I tailor to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with. I offer a collaborative and affirming therapeutic experience to support adolescents and young adults grappling with life transitions and relationship challenges. I have particular expertise in working with individuals with trauma, on the autism spectrum (ASD), and those with ADHD. As a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy to help couples improve their communication and foster a deeper emotional connection.
Having lived in China, the United States, and Canada, I bring a unique blend of personal and professional experiences to my counseling practice, which enables me to work effectively with diverse ethnic groups. As a Chinese Canadian, I genuinely understand the challenges of navigating diverse cultures. These experiences have profoundly enhanced my approach to multicultural counseling, especially in assisting immigrants with cultural adjustment.
