Dongmei (Ruth) Xie is a Registered Psychotherapist in the Province of Ontario (CRPO). She graduated from Peking University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1999, and a Master of Education from Peking University in 2004. She is also a certified facilitator of the Fear-less Positive Parenting Program.

Ruth brings extensive experience in supporting clients through a wide range of life challenges, from personal growth—such as self-growth, self-esteem, career development, work stress, and parenting—to mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, mood disorders, and relationship or family struggles. With 20 years of experience in counseling, coaching, and psychotherapy, she works with individuals, couples, families, and mother-infant dyads, helping them navigate their unique journeys with care and expertise.

Her clinical approach integrates eclectic frameworks of Psychodynamic Therapy, Satir Transformational Systemic Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focus Brief Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
