Dr. Weijia Tan is a Registered Social Worker at the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Worker (OCSWSSW). She has a doctorate in social work from the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Windsor.

Weijia provides psychotherapy to clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transition, adjustment issues, relationship issues, grief and loss, aging-related issues, and other mental health issues. She also conducts couples and family psychotherapy for couples, partners, and families experiencing relationship difficulties. She also works at the University of Toronto as a research coordinator and course instructor.

The purpose of Weijia’s clinical work is to support adults to live a healthy and positive life. Her clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment to Empowerment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Strategies and Skills Learning and Development System.
