Weijia is a Registered Social Worker at the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Worker (OCSWSSW). She has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Windsor and currently is a Ph.D. candidate at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto. 

Weijia’s clinical practice focuses on older adults with dementia, retirement arrangements, palliative care for older adults, grief support, and the adaptation and intergenerational relations of senior immigrants.

The purpose of Weijia’s clinical work is to support mid-aged adults and older adults to live a healthy and positive life. Her clinical approach integrates frameworks of Age-Friended Community, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Relations, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance Commitment to Empowerment Therapy, Legacy Therapy, Advance Care Planning, and Strategies and Skills Learning and Development Approach.

Weijia is fluent in English and Mandarin.
