Aster is a Registered Psychotherapist in the Province of Ontario (CRPO).

She is also a Certified Emotionally-Focused-Therapy (EFT) Therapist accredited by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT), and a Theraplay-trained therapist through the Theraplay Institute (Level One and Two Theraplay & MIM).

Moreover, Aster is a Certified Spiritual Director (CSD) through CCPC Global Inc. and offers a holistic approach of counselling that integrates emotional and spiritual wellness with faith-based resources upon request.

For nearly two decades, she has committed herself to helping children, families, and couples through a variety of community efforts. These include conducting psycho-educational workshops, facilitating personal development courses based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, providing strength-based leadership training for children and adolescents, leading brain-based parenting support groups, and organizing EFT-based workshops for couples.

In addition, Aster has established the Community Buddies (CB) initiative to provide free community support for the neurodiverse individuals and their families (https://buddy.gcsny.ca/). Currently, she is enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program at Tyndale University and is conducting a research study. The study is focused on the holistic well-being of individuals with ASD and ADHD, their families, and communities.
