Haiying is a new Psychotherapist. She worked as a registered nurse for over 15 years. She found what destroys people the most is the psychological struggles rather than the physical pains. Haiying was determined to find a way to help people out and this is the main reason she came to the psychological therapeutic field. Her working experiences as a nurse actually brought more insights into her practice as a psychotherapist. The medical background allowed her to have a more thorough understanding of the link between physical pain and psychological struggles. She believes that therapists and patients can establish the connection between our body sensations and psychological emotions in a much more grounded way. When therapist and patient have the connection, people will understand themselves better and will find a way to work up!

As a registered nurse and psychotherapist, she is trained and experienced in working with populations with special needs. Health assessment and promotions are grounded in her practice. She has encountered people with a wide spectrum of psychological concerns and she was there to stand by their sides to get through the rough journey! Emotionally Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy are her strengths and passion. Haiying strives to create a safe and authentic environment, which enables us to build a trustworthy therapeutic relationship. She will work together to find connection to yourself and to build the relationship you desire.
