Lesley is a Registered Social Worker at the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Worker (OCSWSSW). She has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of  Toronto, specialized in Mental Health and Health.

Jinxia has extensive experience working with all age groups in both community and hospital settings. She collaborates with her clients to review their cognitive, behavioural, and emotional patterns and support them in learning and developing new strategies to address their life challenges. Her aim is to empower her clients and support them to improve self-efficacy, feel better about themselves, have clearer life goals, discover their potential, and build resilience.

Her scope of counselling includes anxiety and depression, intimate relationships, identity, sexuality (LGBTQ+), parenting, life transitions, trauma, loss and grief, anger management, cross-cultural concerns, and other mental health challenges. She provides an individualized approach for each client using elements from various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Trauma-Informed Counselling, and LGBTQ-Affirmative Therapy.
