Shengnan Ma graduated from the University of Toronto, OISE with a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology and Education, and an honoured Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Study. Shengnan is a research associate from two child development labs that specialize in children’s behaviours and early life adversities.

With extensive background in child study and developmental psychology, she developed parenting, child development related workshops (special needs topics such as autism, learning disability, ADHD), mental health related programs such as mindfulness practice, and psychoeducational workshops under the community engagement program WeConnect Couples
and Family Centre.

Shengnan is fluent in English and Mandarin.
