Kit is a dedicated Play Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), now recognized as an International Certified Child-Centered Play Therapist by the Center for Play Therapy at the University of North Texas (UNT). With over five years of clinical experience, Kit is committed to supporting children’s emotional, social, and developmental well-being through evidence-based, relationship-focused therapeutic care.
Kit specializes in Child-Centered Play Therapy and primarily works with children experiencing a wide range of emotional and behavioural challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief and loss, family transitions, learning disabilities, ASD, ADHD, social adjustment difficulties, and selective mutism. Grounded in a deeply person-centered approach, Kit creates a safe, accepting, and developmentally attuned environment where children can express themselves freely, build inner resilience, and develop healthy coping skills through the natural language of play.
In addition to supporting children, Kit also provides therapy for adolescents and adults navigating life transitions, workplace stress, relationship concerns, and general mental health challenges.
Kit believes that healing begins with a trusting therapeutic relationship. With warmth, empathy, and unwavering respect for each client’s unique story, Kit strives to help individuals feel understood and supported while empowering them to grow, thrive, and
create meaningful change in their lives.
