Sandra Li is a Registered Social Worker (OCSWSSW) and Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) in Ontario. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She then obtained her Bachelor’s Degree of Arts (major in psychology) and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of British Columbia. She completed the Certificate in Solution Focused Counselling with the University of Toronto.

Sandra has over 20 years of experience in providing counselling and psychotherapy. She currently works as a school social worker who provides counselling to students and parents.

Prior to that, she was a mental health clinician at a hospital adult outpatient clinic, where she provided individual and group therapy for people with mental illnesses. She had worked at a family service agency, where she provided individual, couples, and family counselling. She also had experience providing counselling for newcomers, parents, and at-risk children and youths
in various settings. She sees people who suffer from mental health issues and struggle with personal and relational challenges.

Sandra’s clinical approach integrates Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance of Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. She believes in people’s strength and resilience, and she works from a client-centered and growth-orientated space.
