Yandong (Carol) Xiang is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Social Work with Honours from York University and a Master’s Degree of Social Work from the University of Toronto, specializing in Health and Mental Health.

She has many years of clinical experience, working with multicultural populations who struggle with mental health issues; particularly with mood and anxiety disorders, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She believes in strength-based practice and is dedicated in helping people with their recovery by utilizing different approaches such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness, self-compassion, The Tapping Solution (Emotional Freedom Technique), etc.
